01 / Your programme
Understanding
your year.
Why does the programme last one year?
A year provides time for preparation, an initial stay, follow-up and reconsideration of priorities. It allows relevant findings and your experience to be reviewed over time; it does not mean continuous treatment or a year-long residential stay.
What happens during the two-to-three-day stay?
Your individual plan may include consultations, selected diagnostics and, where recommended and agreed, treatment. Basel is your base, with travel to Germany for treatment. Time is also set aside to discuss findings and next steps.
Will I know my programme before I arrive?
You receive an outline before travelling. Its medical content is individual and may be refined following consultation or assessment. Proposed changes are discussed with you. Booking does not guarantee a particular treatment.
Who is the programme for?
The programme is intended for adults aged 21 and over seeking an individual review of their health priorities and ongoing care. Acceptance depends on medical circumstances, expectations and individual suitability.
Who holds medical responsibility?
The treating physicians retain responsibility for medical diagnosis and treatment. Psychological, nutritional and complementary perspectives may contribute within their respective roles. Complementary support does not replace medical care.
What does follow-up involve?
Follow-up may include conversation, review of relevant information and further assessment when indicated. Its timing and focus depend on your plan. The responsible physicians may refine recommendations as the clinical picture develops.
What does VIMED CELL not promise?
VIMED CELL does not guarantee acceptance, a particular intervention or a medical outcome. Recommendations depend on medical suitability and your agreement. Benefits, uncertainties and limitations are discussed individually.
Is the programme appropriate for acute or unstable illness?
No. Acute or clinically unstable conditions requiring urgent or hospital-level care are outside the programme’s scope. An introduction to VIMED CELL is not an urgent-care service. Other suitability questions are considered through individual medical review.

Where is VIMED CELL based?
VIMED CELL is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. Basel is also your base for the two-to-three-day initial stay. Treatment takes place in Germany and involves travel during the stay. Practical arrangements are discussed before booking; the precise treatment address is shared after full booking confirmation.
Can I take part if I live abroad?
International enquiries are welcome. Suitability is reviewed individually. Discuss travel, communication and accessibility needs during your introduction, and confirm entry requirements for both Switzerland and Germany before finalising travel.
Which languages are available?
Please tell us your preferred language at first contact. We will clarify the language arrangements for your care before booking. The languages available on this website do not guarantee that every consultation is available in those languages.
When are costs discussed?
The proposed scope, costs and practical arrangements are discussed before you decide whether to book. Accommodation is not included and is arranged separately. Travel arrangements and any separate costs are clarified before booking. There is no fixed treatment package applied to everyone.
Is accommodation included?
No. Accommodation is not included in the VIMED CELL programme and is arranged separately. Our hospitality partner in Basel is Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois. Discuss your preferences and practical arrangements with us before booking.

Can preparation begin remotely?
Yes. Your introduction and review of requested records begin before arrival. If further review is appropriate, we explain which information is needed and how to share it.

Please do not send medical documents or detailed health information at first contact. If review is appropriate, we explain which records are useful and how to share them. Existing information is considered before deciding whether further assessment is needed.
How is my information handled?
Begin with minimal contact information. If further medical review is appropriate, we provide instructions for sharing requested records. Our Legal Terms & Privacy page explains how personal information is handled. Please avoid sensitive medical details in an ordinary first email.
How do I request an introduction?
Use the introduction page or write to info@vimedcell.com with a brief reason for getting in touch. Please do not attach medical records. If further consideration is appropriate, we explain the next step.
