A concise account of how this website may be used, what its medical information means, and how VIMED CELL handles personal information.
01 · Scope
General website information
This website introduces the philosophy, team and potential pathways associated with VIMED CELL. Its content is provided for general information. Accessing the website does not establish a physician–patient, therapeutic, advisory or contractual relationship.
02 · Medical notice
No individual medical advice
Nothing on this website constitutes diagnosis, medical advice, a treatment recommendation or a promise of suitability or outcome. Decisions require an individual review of medical history, medication and supplement intake, previous procedures, available records, current findings, objectives, alternatives and relevant risks.
In an emergency, visitors should contact the locally appropriate emergency service and should not rely on this website or email.
03 · Programme access
Assessment before acceptance
A request for an introduction does not guarantee acceptance into the one-year programme or access to any diagnostic method or intervention. Recommendations, timing and physician involvement are individual and may change as additional information becomes available.
The programme is intended for adults aged 21 and over. It is not designed for people with severe, acute or clinically unstable illness requiring hospital-level assessment or treatment; in such cases, university-hospital or other appropriate specialist care should take priority. Final eligibility is a medical decision.
04 · Accuracy
Editorial care and limitations
VIMED CELL aims to keep information accurate and appropriately qualified. Medicine and regulation evolve, and website content may not reflect every recent development. No warranty is made that the website is uninterrupted, complete or suitable for a particular purpose.
05 · Intellectual property
Use of content
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, text, visual identity and original materials are protected. Reproduction, redistribution or commercial use requires prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise.
06 · Privacy controller
Who is responsible
Römer & Heigl GmbH, Hueningerstrasse 33, 4056 Basel, Switzerland, is responsible for personal data processed through this website and during the initial VIMED CELL enquiry and programme-coordination process. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to info@vimedcell.com.
Once a physician–patient relationship is established, the treating physician is responsible for medical data processed as part of that relationship.
07 · Data and purposes
What may be processed
Depending on the stage of an enquiry, VIMED CELL may process identity and contact details, correspondence, travel and scheduling information, medical history, medication and supplement information, reports supplied by the guest, and other information necessary to consider programme suitability and coordinate requested services.
This information is used to respond to enquiries, take requested steps, assess whether the programme may be appropriate, coordinate appointments and services, meet legal obligations and, where applicable, support care requested by the guest. Sensitive health data is processed only where permitted by law and, where required, with the guest's explicit consent.
Guests should not send medical records until VIMED CELL has requested them and provided submission instructions.
08 · Recipients and locations
Limited and purposeful disclosure
Access is limited to authorised personnel and technical service providers who require the information for their role. Where necessary and legally permitted, relevant information may be shared with treating physicians, diagnostic professionals and other professionals involved in the care requested by the guest. Each healthcare professional remains responsible for information processed within their professional role.
Information may be processed in Switzerland and Germany. The domain and email service are provided by Alphahosting in Germany. The public website is hosted and delivered by Netlify, which may process technical connection and security data through its hosting infrastructure. Appropriate contractual, organisational and technical safeguards are used for service providers and cross-border processing.
09 · Retention and security
Proportionate retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose and applicable contractual, medical, accounting, limitation and documentation obligations. Medical records that become part of an established care relationship may be retained for up to ten years or for another period required by the responsible medical provider or applicable law. Information supplied during an enquiry that does not proceed is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required, subject to legitimate legal retention needs.
VIMED CELL applies access restrictions and appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10 · Cookies and storage

11 · Your rights
Information and control
Subject to applicable law, individuals may request information about their personal data and may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or receive certain data. Consent may be withdrawn for future processing where processing relies on consent.
Requests may be sent to info@vimedcell.com. Individuals may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or another competent data-protection authority.
